Kitchen Fire Suppression System Technician
Job Duties
- Inspecting and repairing pre-engineered restaurant fire suppression systems manufactured by ANSUL, Pyro Chem, Range Guard and Piranha
- Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems
- Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems
- Identifying NFPA code and non-conformance issues
- Maintain proper documentation for all work performed
- Perform fire marshal tests and inspections
Qualifications
- Two or more years experience inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A current and valid driver’s license with 3 or less points
- Must have knowledge and understanding of all NFPA codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be customer oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs., work overhead, and work varied hours including on call
- Must be able to work occasional nights, early morning and weekend shift when needed

Fire Alarm Technician
About the Opportunity
Guardian Fire Protection Services, LLC. is currently seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum of 5 years experience and has a NICET 1, preferable a NICET II certificate. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair Fire Alarm systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.
Job duties
- Testing and Inspecting fire alarm systems in commercial buildings
- Responding to service requests, diagnose system malfunctions of fire alarms and adjust, repair or replace equipment as needed to bring into compliance
- Fire Alarm System testing and inspection per NICET and local code standards
- Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
Qualifications
- Minimum of a NICET 1, preferable a NICET II certification
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience
- Experience performing special hazard suppression system inspection and repair is preferred (FM200 and Halon)
- Functional knowledge to test and service the following fire alarms brands: Simplex, Notifier and Fire-Lite
- Valid Drivers License with 3 or less points
- Ability to be available on-call when scheduled
- Must be knowledgeable of hand tools such as pipe wrenches, channel locks, drills, etc.

About the Opportunity
Guardian Fire Protection Services, LLC. is currently seeking a high energy Collections / Dispatcher with a strong persuasive yet pleasant phone personality. This position requires you work well under pressure. Proficiency in Excel is a must. The average expected out bound daily calls will be between 50-80.
Job Duties
- Continually call our large customer data base to schedule appointments
- Obtain information from customers for necessary inspections
- Data Entry of customer information
- Develop daily routes by area for 6 to 8 technicians
- Other duties may include but not limited to faxing, copying etc.

- Experience in fast paced call center / telemarketing / dispatcher environment preferred

Kitchen Fire Suppression System Technician / Installer
About the Opportunity

Fire Sprinkler Technician
About the Opportunity
This position requires the ability to service, repair and replace Fire Sprinkler products and inspect Fire Sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. Job duties include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, and testing Fire Sprinkler systems to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting, and repairs of our customers Fire Sprinkler Systems, identifying code and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
Inspection & Service
- Will require carrying and climbing 6, 8, 10, or 12 ft ladders daily and occasionally needing to carry and climb extension ladders that are 24ft in length and weigh up to 75 lbs
- The ability to climb and remove ladders from racks on the top of trucks and vans
- Having the ability to take apart Dry Pipe Valves to reset the clapper with parts weighing in excess of 50 lbs
- Need to use hand tools to tighten leaking parts or loosen bolts and nuts that may have not been removed for a lengthy time and are very tight
- Reaching overhead and above drop ceilings to perform testing and operate control valve handles and tamper switches on valve ranging from 1 inch up to 10 inch OS+Y valves
- Be able to turn the handles on large OS+Y valves that could be as large as 10 inch in pipe diameter
- Need to have basic understanding of the safe use of hand tools required for the job
- Be able to work at heights using lifts and ladders that could exceed 40 feet
- Extended periods of walking and sitting to perform the inspections is required
- Able to communicate clearly verbally as well as on paper
Repair
- Be able to remove a Ridgid Power Machine from a vehicle and set it up in an area that will allow for safe operation
- Use all necessary power tools for repairing pipe such as the Ridgid 300 power threader, groovers for the power machine as well as in air groovers, various sizes of hammer drills for drilling holes in cinder block and brick
- Able to use pipe wrenches in sizes from 10 inch up to 36 inch for working on large diameter pipe
- Able to carry pipe the is used for the jobs which typically is not larger than schedule 10, 4 inch which is 59 lbs per a 10 foot 6 inch piece of pipe
- Need to be able to carry ladders to and from the vehicle to the work are which can be a good distance away and up stairs
- Ladders range from 4 foot step ladders to 24 foot extension ladders and everything in between
- Be able to use the different types of pipe joining methods from threading to grooving and also solder joint

Warehouse Worker / Fire Extinguisher Technician
About the Opportunity
This position requires the ability to service, repair and replace Fire Sprinkler products and inspect Fire Sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. - Manage inventory and pull products needed for technicians on a daily basis
- Keep the warehouse organized and well run at all times
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Warehouse
- Receive and verify deliveries
- Perform minor building/office repairs and maintenance
- Recharging of Fire Extinguishers and System Cylinders (will be trained)
Qualifications
- Experience working in a warehouse/shop
- Must be able and willing to primarily perform fire extinguisher recharging and obtain a license from Montgomery County (after training)
- Highly proactive. Chooses to take initiative and ownership of projects.
- Strong work ethic. Uses time productively to accomplish work goals.
- Has perfect attendance and can be trusted to handle a high level of responsibility
- Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Forklift experience A+ but will train
